Most CPC products use resins certified by the FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) and USDA (U.S. Department of Agriculture). O-rings can be changed to certified materials as needed. The polysulfone version is compatible with sodium hypochlorite, steam, and hydrochloric acid. There is a wide range of couplings made from plastics that have been verified for safety, including NSF standard C-2 and USP Class VI, ensuring food safety.
